Well, we had a little glitch on Friday with the switch to the new site. Some of you saw the new site, and left comments there, and some of you saw the old one, and left comments there. All comments WERE recorded, however. We are working on the problems, and we'll try again next week for the upgrade.

In addition to the fashion show, everyone will have a chance to get an up-close look at Appalachian State University’s 2005, 2006 and 2007 NCAA Division I National Championship trophies, as well as meet Coach Jerry Moore and various ASU football players.

The spring benefit is Boone Service League’s largest fundraiser. At the 2007 event, Boone Service League raised more than $20,000 for many of the area’s organizations and individuals in need.

Cherokee Cove is a breath-takingly beautiful Family Campground and Retreat Center, located just over the Tennessee line. On these cold, snowy days.. well... cold anyway, I love to get a great bowl of soup. There just aren't many places to get good soup in Boone, without spending a lot of time or money.
